
Jenna is a recent graduate from Temple University and is beyond eager to begin a career with music, media and live events.
Originally from Long Island, New York, Jenna has been a lifelong fan of live entertainment. From early childhood she was captivated by performers and pop culture—whether it was watching The Wiggles as a toddler, growing up with Hannah Montana and Justin Bieber, or following artists like One Direction and Fifth Harmony throughout her school years.
She has attended more than 50 concerts as a fan, and since pursuing a career in the industry, she has also worked more than 50 shows behind the scenes.
Her passion for music and entertainment naturally led her to pursue working with artists and media companies . She hopes to support the people who gave her such great memories and, in turn, help create and manage tours that bring individuals together through the power of music and entertainment.
Jenna believes that "music brings people together and is the one universal language worldwide".
When Jenna first arrived at Temple University as a 17-year-old, she was unsure what career path she wanted to pursue. Through Temple University's Undeclared program, she explored different academic areas before realizing she wanted to combine her love for music and social media with her interpersonal and organizational skills.
She first declared a major within Temple’s Klein College of Media and Communication, where she has strategically built her education around being able to touch on every aspect of the music industry. Her coursework and job experiences have has given her knowledge in marketing, artist and event management, budgeting, entrepreneurship, and both live and studio setting audio engineering. With her strong goal setting skills, she was able to shape her academic path to gain both educational and real-world experience to be able to enter the industry with a versatile skill set.
As of right now, she is particularly interested in marketing, content management, and live event production.

Jenna has developed a well-rounded skill set through both her academic and hands-on training. She has experience in live event production, operations, coordination, supporting backstage and show logistics, assisting with run-of-show execution, artist hospitality, social media marketing, content creation/scheduling and audio engineering/editing .
Through working more than 50 concerts and completing internships, she has gained practical knowledge of what it is like to work in fast-paced environments. These experiences have taught her how to collaborate with diverse groups of people to ensure events run smoothly, while also emphasizing the importance of organization and meeting deadlines on time.
Jenna also has experience identifying and following current trends to help increase brand and creator engagement. She is skilled in website creation, platform management, Canva design, and the use of AI tools for content production, organization, and planning. Additionally, she has experience in photography and video production/editing.


Jenna worked as an Event Coordinator Intern for Patricia Caicedo at the Barcelona Festival of Song, assisting with event logistics and festival operations.
She has also worked with Bell Tower Music Label, where she first served as a staff member before advancing to the role of Live Event Coordinator. In this position, she planned and executed live performances for emerging artists.
During her time at Temple, Jenna worked on a variety of hands-on projects across media & music production, marketing, publishing, and contract agreements in the music industry.
She understands how to develop marketing plans, press releases, budgets, and business and operations plans. She also understands audio mixing and engineering, artist development, album rollouts, live event coordination, and music publishing and copyright law, giving her well-rounded knowledge of the entertainment industry.
Jenna has worked behind the scenes at some of Philadelphia’s biggest live events, ranging from intimate venues to crowds of over 50,000 people.
She has assisted with load-ins/outs, fan check-ins, and following tour plans to set up merchandise stands. These experiences gave her firsthand insight into live event operations and fan engagement.

Jenna Barbowski actively engages with the live event and music industries beyond just her education and work experiences.
She's attended networking opportunities, mentorship programs, and exclusive sound checks with Laufey and Sharon Van Etten (pictured) through the Grammy U Philadelphia Chapter.
In addition to her involvement with Grammy U, Jenna was selected for the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) mentorship program, where she was mentored by industry professional Greg Kemprath.
